- Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) adanya pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe inside-outside circle (IOC) terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X , dan (2) adanya perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe inside-outside circle (IOC) dengan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan metode konvensional. Penelitian ini merupakan eksperimen semu. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas X dan sampel penelitian yakni siswa kelas X1 dan X3 SMA Negeri 1 Natar. Data yang diperoleh berupa nilai hasil belajar dan data aktivitas pembelajaran siswa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji linier sederhana dan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) adanya pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe inside-outside circle (IOC) pada hasil belajar siswa kelas X, dan (2) adanya perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe inside-outside circle (IOC) dengan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan metode konvensional. Kata Kunci: inside outside circle, pembelajaran kooperatif. ABSTRACT The research was to find out about (1) the effect of using inside-outside circle of cooperative learning model to grade X student’s achievement score, and (2) the differences of student’s achievement score who used inside-outside circle type of cooperative learning model and student’achievement score who used conventional learning method. This was quasi experiment research. The population of the research was students of grade X and research’s samples were students of grade X1 and X3 of 1 senior high school of Natar. The data collect were student’s achievement scores and student activity’s scores. Datas were analized by using linier regression analysis and t-test. The result of this research were (1) there was an effect of using inside-outside circle of cooperative learning model to grade X student’s achievement score, and (2) there was a difference of student’s achievement score who used inside-outside circle type of cooperative learning model and student’s achievement score who used conventional learning method.
