  • Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan validitas dan efektivitas LKPD berbasis guided inquiry learning dalam menumbuhkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian dan pengembangan merujuk pada teori Borg and Gall. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SD Gugus Depan Raden Intan di Kecamatan Bumi Nabung dan menggunakan teknik sampling purposive terpilih sampel penelitian yaitu 22 siswa kelas IV B SD Negeri 5 Bumi Nabung Ilir. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik nontes dan tes. Alat pengumpulan data berupa angket dan soal tes. Analisis data menggunakan uji validitas dan uji efektivitas N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) LKPD berbasis guided inquiry learning valid, baik valid secara teoritis maupun secara empiris. Valid secara teoritis yaitu telah memenuhi aspek materi, media, dan bahasa. Valid secara empiris yaitu melalui uji coba kelompok kecil. (2) LKPD berbasis guided inquiry learning efektif untuk menumbuhkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang ditunjukkan dengan rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 0,67 dengan kategori “Sedang”. Kata kunci: lembar kerja peserta didik, guided inquiry learning, berpikir kritis abstract This research and development aims to describe the validity and effectiveness of worksheet based on guided inquiry learning in fostering students' critical thinking skills. Research and development refers to the theory of Borg and Gall. The study population was fourth grade students at the Raden Intan Front Cluster in Bumi Nabung Subdistrict and using purposive sampling techniques selected for the study sample is 22 students of class IV B SD Negeri 5 Bumi Nabung Ilir. Data collection techniques use tests and non-tests techniques. Data collection tools are questionnaire and test items. Data were analyzed using validity test and N-Gain effectiveness test. The results showed that (1) Worksheet based on guided inquiry learning was valid theoretically and empirically. Valid theoretically that was fulfilled the material, media, and grammatical aspects. Valid empirically through small group trials. (2) Worksheet based on guided inquiry learning is effective to foster students' critical thinking skills as indicated by the average N-Gain of 0.67 with the category "Medium”.
