- Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui a) faktor penyebab konflik antar pasangan calon kepala/wakil kepala daerah pada pemilihan kepala daerah di Kabupaten Mesuji Tahun 2017, b) dampak dan seberapa besar meluasnya konflik dan c) solusi konflik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, analisis data pada penelitian yang bersifat kualitatif. Hasil penelitian dan pembahasan bahwa a) Faktor penyebab konflik adalah bahwa adanya laporan dari Tim Pemenangan 1 yang dimana dalam laporan tersebut menyebukan bahwa terjadi pelanggaran yang dilakukan Calon Bupati Nomor Urut 2 H. Khamami, SH yaitu penggunaan fasilitas Negara dengan memberikan sambutan pada acara pelatihan Linmas desa Pancawarna Kecamatan Way Serdang pada tanggal 21 Desember 2016. b) Dampak konfliknya adalah tidak ikutnya Pasangan Calon Nomor Urut 2 H. Khamami, SH dan H. Saply TH dalam acara Debat Publik pada tanggal 16 Januari 2017, dengan alasan keamanan sehingga Panwas Kabupaten menjadikan kasus tersebut sebagai temuan dan diproses oleh Bagian Hukum dan Penanganan Pelanggaran Panwas Kabupaten Mesuji. c) Solusinya adalah perdamaian antara Khamamik yang merupakan calon petahana dan calon Wakil Bupati Adam Ishak, anak dari Wakil Bupati Mesuji Ismail Ishak yang meninggal pertengahan Oktober 2016 lalu melalui mediasi, telah dilakukan dihadapan sejumlah pejabat Kepolisian dan TNI serta instansi terkait lainnya. Kata Kunci: Konflik dan pemilihan kepala daerah ABSTRACT The purpose of the study was to find out a) the causes of conflict between the candidates for the head / deputy head of the region in the regional head elections in Mesuji Regency in 2017, b) the impact and extent of the conflict and c) the solution to the conflict. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, data analysis in qualitative research. The results of the study and discussion that a) Factors causing conflict were that there was a report from the Winning Team 1 in which the report stated that a violation had been committed by Candidate Regent No. 2 H. Khamami, SH, namely the use of State facilities by giving a speech at the Linmas training event. Pancawarna village, Way Serdang Subdistrict on December 21, 2016. b) The impact of the conflict was that there were no Candidate Pair Number 2 H. Khamami, SH and H.
