- Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode aerasi airlift dan metode aerasi bubble stone terhadap volume flok dan pertumbuhan udang. Penelitin ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan dua perlakuan dan lima kali pengulangan. Rasio carbon molase dan nitrogen dari hasil ekskresi dan sisa pakan yang digunakan yaitu 1:15. Bakteri Bacillus sp digunakan untuk membentuk flok. Kepadatan yang digunakan 1×109 CFU/ ml. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penggunaan metode aerasi airlift dan metode aerasi bubble stone tidak signifikan terhadap volume flok dan pertumbuhan udang vaname. Kata kunci : bioflok, aerasi, udang vaname, rasio C/N, volume flok THE EFFECT OF AERATION METHODS ON FLOCK VOLUME AND VANAMEI GROWTH OF Litopenaeus vannamei (Boone 1931) WHICH USED WITH BIOFLOK SYSTEM The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of airlift aeration and bubble stone aeration methods the forming of floc volume and shrimp growths. This study used a completely randomized design with two treatments and five replications. The carbon and nitrogen ratio was 1:15. The source of carbon was molases, meanwhile nitrogen’s source was shrimp food which counsained 40% of protein. The density Bacillus sp to bioflocs was 1×109 CFU/ ml. Th result showed that it was not significatly between the airlift and bubble stone methods on the flock volume perfoming and the growth shrimp.
