- Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji faktor penyebab terjadinya unmet need KB pasangan usia subur (PUS) di Kecamatan Labuhan Ratu Kota Bandar Lampung. Metode yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah wanita PUS unmet need KB yang berjumlah 816 dengan sampel sebanyak 89 wanita PUS unmet need KB yang diperoleh dengan proportional random sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner, wawancara terstruktur dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan tabel presentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa 1) Sebanyak 61,04% wanita PUS unmet need memiliki usia >30 tahun, 2) Sebanyak 91,01% PUS unmet need KB memiliki jumlah anak masih hidup ≤ 2 anak, 3) Tingkat pendidikan wanita PUS unmet need KB di Kecamatan Labuhan Ratu sebanyak 48,31% memiliki tingkat pendidikan tinggi, 4) Sebanyak 66,29% wanita PUS unmet need KB memiliki pengetahuan KB yang baik, 5) Tingkat pendapatan PUS sebagian besar tergolong memiliki pendapatan rendah yaitu sebanyak 55,06% PUS, 6) Sebesar 66,29% wanita PUS yang tidak ber-KB disebabkan oleh mahalnya biaya, 7) Sebesar 74,16% wanita PUS memperoleh dukungan serta persetujuan dari suami terkait dengan penggunaan alat kontrasepsi, 8) Sebesar 60,67% wanita PUS tidak menggunakan alat kontrasepsi dikarenakan efek samping yang pernah dialami. Kata kunci: keluarga berencana, pasangan usia subur, unmet need KB FACTORS OF CAUSE OF THE UNMET NEED KB FERTILE AGE COUPLES (PUS) IN LABUHAN RATU SUBDISTRICT BANDAR LAMPUNG CITY IN 2018 This study aims to examine the factors causing the occurrence of unmet need for fertile age couples (PUS) in Labuhan Ratu Subdistrict, Bandar Lampung City. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The population in this study were PUS women with unmet need KB who numbered 816 with a sample of 89 unmet needy PUS women obtained by proportional random sampling. Data collected by questionnaires, structured interviews and documentation. Data analysis uses a percentage table. The results showed that 1) as many as 61,04% of unmet needy PUS women had age> 30 years. 2) A total of 91,01% PUS unmet need has a number of children still alive ≤ 2 children. 3) Education level of PUS women with unmet need for family planning in Labuhan Ratu Subdistrict as much as 48,31% have higher education level. 4) As many as 66,29% PUS women with unmet need for family planning have good family planning knowledge. 5) PUS income levels are mostly classified as having low income, namely 55,06% PUS. 6) A total of 66,29% of PUS women who do not have family planning because they are caused by high costs. 7) As many as 74,16% of PUS women receive support and approval from their husbands regarding the use of contraception. 8) As much as 60.67% of PUS women do not use contraceptives because of the side effects they have experienced.
