- Muslimah bercadar dalam kehidupan sehari-hari menimbulkan stereotip negatif, mereka dicurigai sebagai muslimah garis keras, isteri teroris, kaku dan eksklusif. Mereka belum mendapatkan dukungan oleh pihak-pihak tertentu. Hal ini mendorong Niqab Squad membentuk komunitas khusus para muslimah bercadar. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana komunikasi dakwah Niqab Squad dalam mengatasi stereotip muslimah bercadar studi pada komunitas Niqab Squad pimpinan Indadari. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori SMCRE (Source, Message, Receiver, Effect) milik David Berlo. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa komunitas Niqab Squad berhasil dalam mengatasi stereotip negatif muslimah bercadar, didukung dengan kegiatan-kegiatan positif yang dilakukan Niqab Squad. Kegiatannya adalah kerjasama antara organisasi lain dengan Niqab Squad, masyarakat yang belum bercadar mau mengikuti kegiatan yang diselenggarakan, keterikatan pengikut di media sosial Niqab Squad secara aktif dan didukung dengan adanya sponsor serta bentuk kerjasama dari pihak kepolisian untuk mengawasi keamanan. Kata Kunci: Model Komunikasi Dakwah, Niqab Squad, Stereotip Negatif, Muslimah Bercadar. ABSTRACT Niqabi Muslim women in everyday life create negative stereotypes, they are suspected of beingMuslimextremists, terrorist wives, rigid, and exclusive. They have not been accepted by certain parties. This prompted the Niqab Squad to form a special community of niqabi Muslim women. This research was conducted to find out how the Niqab Squad da'wah communication in overcoming the stereotypes of niqabi Muslim women with respect to Indadari's Niqab Squad community. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach using data collection techniques namely observation, interview, and documentation. The theory used is from David Berlo's SMCRE (Source, Message, Receiver, Effect). The results of this study indicate that the Niqab Squad community succeeded in overcoming the negative stereotypes of niqabi Muslim women, by using a reciprocal communication model involving communicants namely each board member and internal member of the Niqab Squad, the wider community throughout the world, the closest family, groups or institutions involved, presenters who have knowledge in their fields, and are active followers of Niqab Squad followers on Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp. The reciprocal communication model is supported by positive activities carried out by the Niqab Squad, the activities of which are collaboration between other organizations with the Niqab Squad, people who do not use niqab want to take part in the activities actively, the followers' attachments in the Niqab Squad social media and are supported by sponsors and forms of cooperation from the police to oversee the security.
