Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe TPS dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis Siswa

- Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS dibandingkan pembelajaran konvensional. Desain penelitian ini adalah pretest posttest control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Al-Kautsar Bandar Lampung dengan sampel siswa kelas VIII F dan VIII G yang diambil menggunakan teknik purposive random sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh dari tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. This research aimed to know the increasing of student’s mathematical communication skill which was taught by cooperative learning model of TPS type compared to conventional learning. The design of this research was pretest posttest control group design. The population of this research was all grade eight students of Junior High School of Al-Kautsar Bandar Lampung with samples were students of VIIIF and VIIIG class which were taken by purposive random sampling technique. The research data were obtained by test of mathematical communication skill. The conclusion of this research was cooperative learning model of TPS type could increase the student’s mathematical communication skill.
