- Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: 1) tingkat partisipasi petani dalam program UP2PJK di Kecamatan Seputih Raman, 2) faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan tingkat partisipasi petani dalam program UP2PJK di Kecamatan Seputih Raman, 3) mengetahui produktivitas usahatani padi petani setelah mengikuti program UP2PJK, dan 4) hubungan antara tingkat partisipasi petani dalam program UP2PJK dan produktivitas padi. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 83 petani yang didapat dengan metode simple random sampling, dan metode analisis yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif, dan kuantitatif. Hasil yang didapat adalah: 1) tingkat partisipasi petani dalam program UP2PJK berada pada klasifikasi tinggi, 2) faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan tingkat partisipasi petani dalam program UP2PJK adalah tingkat pengetahuan tentang program, frekuensi mengikuti kegiatan penyuluhan, tingkat motivasi petani, dan tingkat kekosmopolitan, 3) terdapat perbedaan produktivitas usahatani padi sawah setelah mengikuti program Upsus peningkatan produksi padi sawah UP2PJK, dan 4) tidak terdapat hubungan antara tingkat partisipasi petani dan produktivitas usahatani padi dalam program UP2PJK di Kecamatan Seputih Raman. Kata kunci : partisipasi, produktivitas, program ABSTRACT The purpose of this research was to know about: 1) the level of farmer participation in UP2PJK program in Seputih Raman Subdistrict, 2) factors that associated with the level of farmer participation in UP2PJK program in Seputih Raman Subdistrict, 3) the productivity of rice farming farmers after following UP2PJK program, and 4) the relationship between the level of farmer participation in UP2PJK program and rice productivity. Data of this research were collected on Agustus-September 2016. The respondents of this research were 83 of rice farmers whom choosen by simple random sampling method. The analytical methods used in this research were descriptive and quantitative methods. The result of this research shows that: 1) the level of farmer participation in UP2PJK program were at high classification, 2) factors associated with the level of farmer participation in UP2PJK program are knowledge of the program, frequency of following extension activity, farmer motivation, and level of cosmopolitness, 3) there are differences in rice’s productivity after following UP2PJK program, and 4) there is no relation between the level of farmer participation and productivity of rice in UP2PJK program in Seputih Raman Subdistrict Central Lampung Regency.
