Social and public welfare</subject><subject>LB Theory and practice of education</subject><description>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis (1) perbedaan kemampuan berfikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS antarmodel pembelajaran ( Two Stay Two Stray dan Snowball Throwing) dan antar kemampuan awal (tinggi dan rendah) bagi siswa kelas V SDN 2 Gedong Air, (2) perbedaan kemampuan berfikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS yang pembelajarannya menggunakan pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray dan Snowball Throwing tanpa memperhatikan kemampuan awal siswa kelas V SDN 2 Gedong Air, (3) perbedaan kemampuan berfikir kritis siswa yang memiliki kemampuan awal tinggi dan rendah tanpa mempertimbangkan model pembelajaran yang digunakan pada siswa kelas V SDN 2 Gedong Air, (4) interaksi antara model pembelajaran dengan kemampuan awal terhadap kemampuan berfikir kritis siswa kelas V SDN 2 Gedong Air .&#xD; Metode yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan rancangan eksperimen semu dengan memberikan perlakuan pada dua kelas yang berbeda, satu kelas menggunakan pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray dan satu kelas lainnya menggunakan pembelajaran Snowball Throwing dengan memperhatikan kemampuan awal siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) ada perbedaan kemampuan berfikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS antarmodel pembelajaran ( Two Stay Two Stray dan Snowball Throwing) dan antar kemampuan awal (tinggi dan rendah) bagi siswa kelas V SDN 2 Gedong Air, (2) ada perbedaan kemampuan berfikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS yang pembelajarannya menggunakan pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray dan Snowball Throwing tanpa memperhatikan kemampuan awal siswa kelas V SDN 2 Gedong Air, (3) ada perbedaan kemampuan berfikir kritis pada mata pelajaran IPS yang memiliki kemampuan awal tinggi dan rendah tanpa mempertimbangkan model pembelajaran yang digunakan pada siswa kelas V SDN 2 Gedong Air, (4) ada interaksi antara model pembelajaran dengan kemampuan awal terhadap kemampuan berfikir kritis pada mata pelajaran IPS siswa kelas V SDN 2 Gedong Air .&#xD; Kata kunci : two stay two stray, snowball throwing, kemampuan berfikir kritis&#xD; &#xD; &#xD; &#xD; &#xD; &#xD; &#xD; &#xD; &#xD; &#xD; &#xD; &#xD; This study aims to analyze (1) differences of students&#x2019; critical thinking skills in social studies (Two Stay Two Stray and Snowball Throwing) learning models and initial ability (high and low) for the 5th grade students of SDN 2 Gedong Air,(2) differences in students&#x2019; critical thinking skills in social studies which the learning used Tow Stay Two Stray and Snowball Throwing without regarding to students&#x2019; initial ability of the 5th grade students of SDN 2 Gedong Air,(3) differences in students&#x2019;s critical thinking skills that have high and low initial ability without considering the learning model used in the 5th grade students of SDN 2 Gedong Air,(4) the interaction between the learning model with initial ability of the students&#x2019; critical thingking in the 5th grade students of SDN 2 Gedong Air.&#xD; The method used is the quasi-experimental design to provide treatment to different classes, one class used learning of Two Stay two Stray and other classes used the Snowball Throwing learning by observing students&#x2019;initial ability.
