EFEKTIVITAS MODEL DISCOVERY LEARNING DALAM MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN GENERATING PADA MATERI LARUTAN ELEKTROLIT DAN NON-ELEKTROLIT

- Abstrak Efektivitas Model Discovery Learning dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Generating Materi Larutan Elektrolit Dan Non-Elektrolit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas model discovery learning dalam meningkatkan kemampuan generating siswa pada materi larutan elektrolit dan non-elektrolit. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMAN 7 Bandar Lampung menggunakan dua kelas sampel yang diperoleh dengan cara purposive sampling. Penelitian ini meng¬gunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan non equivalent pretest-posttest control group design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata n-Gain kemampuan generating pada kelas kontrol dan eksperimen masing-masing 0,25 dan 0,59. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran materi larutan elektrolit dan non-elektrolit menggunakan model discovery learning efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan generating. The goal of this research was describe the effectiveness of discovery learning model to improve generating ability on electrolyte and non-electrolyte topic. The research was conducted at SMAN 7 Bandar Lampung using two sample classes which they were obtained by purposive sampling. This research used quasi experiment method with non equivalent pretest-posttest control group design. Learning was said to be effective if there are significant differencess between the n-Gain in the control and experimental class. The result showed that the average n-Gain generating ability in control and experiment class 0.25 and 0.59, respectively. Therefore, it can be inferred that on electrolyte and non-electrolyte topic used discovery learning model was effective to improve generating ability.
