  • As a result of knowledge engineering, technology is definde as the science that transformed into products, processes, services, services and organizational structure, so it produce concrete and ready to use. Recently, technologies apply in all areas of life that can not be separated from the mankind needs. Education technology is one that uses technology to reach and improve education quality. to improve education quality, education technology endeavor to include standard in national education system. this is applied by legislation of eight national education standards that include the government regulation no 19 of 2005 article 2, paragraph 1, namely: a content standard; b, standardized processes; c. former student competency standards; d. standards of educators and official; e. standards of facilities and infrastructure; f. management standards;g. financing standards and h. standards of educational assessment. education technology has important role in improving the quality of education at all levels. At the macro level, education technology play a role in designing the concept and implementation of national education. access to education for all can not be approached in conventional, there is important to use technology to spread and guarantee all of citizen to access their right for education. at the micro level, education technology has role to reach learning quality. learning quality indicators must be measured. guarantee to reach the indicators is only approached by real technology approach. not only mere learning tools, but integrate systematically and use variations of learning source
