  • One factor that became the inspiration to create a hydrologic model especially rainfall data transformation model into the data flow is the existence flow measurement data limitations. Sugawara tank model is one a conceptual model with the concept that the process of rain water flow into dianologikan stream as a stream through a series of tanks. In the tank model approach using 3 to 4 fruits tank can be arranged in series, parallel or a combination of both. Process simulation This modeling will yield the parameters or the coefficients model tank at a watershed modeled. In model 3 parallel arrangement of the tank there are 14 parameters that must be determined and it is not an easy job. So to overcome this is done the optimization to obtain the optimal parameters that can represent sautu DAS is modeled. In the optimization process used Genetic Algorithms to demonstrate the effectiveness and speed in determining the parameters. The results of analysis on two watersheds shows the tank model with 3 tanks parallel arrangement may present anatara relations climate and flow data mengahsilkan water with a very good performance. This optimization technique has been packed in Matlab programming language that is ready for use and dikembangankan to be used in other watersheds .
