- The purpose of this study is to know the style of leadership and influence on teacher performance. Analysis tool uses a range of scales and simple linear regression analysis. Data collection methods used in the questionnaire a list of all the teachers that is 38 respondents (teachers). The result of calculations performed with a range of scales can be seen that style into the category of transformational leadership. Performance concluded that high teacher performance. It can be concluded that the leadership style variable (X) together have a strong relationship to the performance of teachers (Y) with correlation coefficient (R) of 0.867. From the results of t test, known value of 10.420 t count> t table value 1.684 which produces a decision against Ho refused and Ha is received with an error rate of 5%. This means that the transformational leadership style (X) has a significant influence on teacher performance. In connection with these results, the principal should improve teacher performance by applying the potential of transformational leadership style effectively and increasing attention diindividualkan (from results of respondent's answer), of the four indicators of transformational leadership styles are: charisma, inspiration, intellectual stimulation and attention diindividualkan to improve teacher performance.
