- This study is archive study in Bursa Efek Jakarta entitled “The Implementation of Economic Addition Value Model toward Financial Performance Assessment of Cigarette Company that Its Stock is Listed in Bursa Efek Jakarta” The purposes of this study are to know the financial performance of company that is listed in Bursa Efek Jakarta during 2004 up to 2006 and to know the best financial assessment of Cigarette Company during 2004 up to 2006. Based on the formulation of the problem and previous significance of study, the researcher hypothesizes that financial assessment of Cigarette Company that its stock is listed in Bursa Efek Jakarta is good and Cigarette Company that has the best performance is PT. Gudang Garam Tbk. Instrument to analyze this data is Economic Addition Value Model by steos as follow: assessing modal expense, assessing new stock capital expense, assessing capital structure, assessing average capital expense (WACC) and the last is assessing Economic Addition Value. The result of calculation and data analysis shows that financial performance of company cigarette that the stock is listed in Bursa Efek Jakarta during 2004 up to 2006 is healthy; it is shown that by majority value NITAMI > 0, while the best financial performance of Cigarette Company is PT.HM Sampoerna Tbk. Based on the conclusion, the researcher imply that cigarette company that the stock is listed in Bursa Efek Jakarta should gives attention to financial performance by focusing on the capital and pressing capital expense and pressing the level of capital expense. Then, for creditor, they should focus on the financial performance of many cigarette companies that is listed in Bursa Efek Jakarta before having credit.
