- The appearance of homeschooling, the new phenomenon in education’s world, an informal education becomes the ones of the educcation’s way in Indonesia now. Some of the teenagers choose this way than a regular’s way. But of course, they need time for the adjustment against this changes which is suitable with their own (self concept-konsep diri). The changes from one condition to another different condition will cause the changes of their individual becomes not comfortable, so for teenagers who are choosing this education’s way that is homeschooling must attempt for adaption not only personal but also social. Because, the adjustment (penyesuaian diri) which is the teenagers do not only in education’s environment but also in the familys, and social environment. The formation of their (self concept-konsep diri) which is go through the transition’s time have an important’s role when they are adaption their self wherever they are. Because, this thing will determine(menentukan) the success or not the teenagers adjustment. So this research is aims to reveal whether there is a correlation between the (self concept) with the teenagers (adjustment) who are do homeschooling. (Self concept) is an individual assessment about theirs condition, abot what and who are they which is combined from the physical perception, psychology, social, ant their attitude which are formed in their mind and their feeling through their experiences which are obtained from the individual interaction with their environment. While the adjustment is an individual ability to balanca the demands which are comes from the deep inside of theirself and from the outside theirself and environment, so they are obtain the suitability between theirself and environment. This research project is non eksperimental design and using kuantitatif research method which is the subject is BERKEMAS Homeschooling Community that have 30 people in it. The instrument of research using (self concept) scale and the (adjustment) scale. That measured with Likert scale. The data analysis techniques using product moment correlation. The result was obtained the correlation coefficient (r=0,923; p=0,000; sign <0,01). It shows there are a positive correlation and very significant between the (self concept) with the teenagers adjustment which are did homeschooling. And (self concept) give an effective contribution (r2=85,2%) against the adjustment, while the rest (14,8%) is influenced by the others factors.
