The average film in Indonesia is characterized elements of horror, but not infrequently also talked about the life around us. One example is the Women's Film Got a story, the film tells about the experience bebrapa women from various parts of Indonesia and most of the story depicts the figure of a woman who "hurt". Background of this research problem is to find out how the Representation of Women In Film "Women Have Stories" (a Semiotic Analysis). This study analyzed the semiotic interesting for the purpose other than to interpret the contents of which appear (manifest contents) can also describe the contents of the hidden (latent contents). By analyzing the film's combination of audio and visual in a movie does not always mean the same, depending on demand. Thus serve as a semiotic approach to film study. The data was collected to data about the signs of how the representation of women in this film. This study uses qualitative research approach of interpretive theory, namely how to find meaning or understanding of the various signs, or the reality of communications by using constructivist perspective. In this case the researchers will articulate and project a hermeneutical understanding of trying to see the abstraction in terms of historiographical understanding, perspective in the social life of society. To assess the representation of women in the film "Women Punya Cerita" using semiotic methods of structural analysis which refers to the theory of Roland Barthes. The results of research on the representation of women in the film "Women Punya Cerita" These include how the portrayal of women in this film. Women as a figure who had idealism, rebellion against the reality of women, women who try to maintain the family unit and women not as passive objects.
