  • Organizational commitment to be one important factor in a Institutions or companies because they relate to turnover intentions, satisfaction work, work on employee motivation. One aspect that allegedly linked with organizational commitment is an internal locus of control. Locus of control individual's internal belief that the events in life as a consequence of his deeds. While the commitment organization is the attitude and acceptance of individuals terhadaptujuan and values organization and ketidakinginannya leave the organization. Therefore, This study aims to determine the relationship between locus of control internal organizational commitment This research is a non-experimental. Population and sample in the study were employees of the Village Community Empowerment Board Pamekasan District employees numbering 30 people. The technique The sampling technique used is total sampling. Method collecting the data used in this study using a scale, ie internal locus of control scale and the scale of organizational commitment. The technique analysis of data used product moment correlation analysis. From the analysis of data obtained by using SPSS 12.0 r = 0.736 and P = 0,000, indicating there is a very significant positive relationship between locus of internal control with commitment organisasi.Hal this means if the value at internal locus of control variables to increase or decrease will be followed also rise and fall of the value of the variable organizational commitment. The contribution effectively provided by an internal locus of control on organizational commitment by 54% and 46% more influenced by some other factor that is satisfaction employment, job involvement, achievement motivation and other.
