  • Divorce is so rampant there, especially in Indonesia. Of the few cases of divorce, always lead to bad consequences for children who make their parents separate or single parent. For teens this is really difficult to carry out development tasks that can not be separated from the demands and constraints. In adolescents who have single parents, have problems in fulfilling the need for affection and attention. Peers as second only to the family also influence its development. Peers have more influence on attitudes, conversations, interests, appearance and behavior of adolescents. So as to provide comfort and acceptance to adolescents. Lack of parental involvement in the financial arrangements of children, making the teens are able to do anything that encourages them on consumer attitudes. In contrast to adolescents who have parents complete love and attention needs are met properly. Parents are more sensitive to the problems and needs of children. The existence of control from both parents make teens always involve parents in deciding on a purchase. So this makes teenagers who have parents able to control the attitude intact konsumtifnya The methodology in this research is quantitative descriptive non-experimental. The population used is the senior high school student I Malang. The sampling technique by using purposive sampling technique, amounting to 96 people. Data were collected through a questionnaire which shaped consumer attitudes scale. And to analyze the data using t-Test technique. Through data analysis found that the difference is very significant consumer attitudes among adolescents who live with parents intact and adolescents living with single parents (t = 17.666 and p = 0.000). Where are teenagers who live with single parents have higher consumer attitudes (133.45) when compared with adolescents who live with parents intact (98.28).
