- Learning achievement is an issue that is very important in the learning process because it can be an indicator of the success of a student in learning activities and with good performance can be assumed that students tesebut can become qualified human resources. To support students to achieve outstanding success, SDN Ardimulyo II provides various facilities to learn and the teachers and curriculum accordingly. Nevertheless there are still some students with low achievement. This study aimed to identify the factors that cause low-achieving students at SDN Ardimulyo II Singosari. This research is a qualitative research as research procedures which produce descriptive data in the form of written words. In this study data retrieval using intelligence tests, interviews and observation. The subjects in this study, two elementary school students in grade IVB. The research was conducted on March 20, 2006 to June 15, 2006 at SDN Ardimulyo II Singosari. Through data analysis found that there are two IVB grade students who have low achievement, is caused by low interest in learning, family support and motivation.
