- Basically, the purpose of financial performance analysis is to determine the company's performance has been achieved which is illustrated through the financial statements of the company and its stock price. A company's stock price shows the value of investments in the company. Stock prices can be regarded as indicators of company management being able to create market power arising from the company's stock trading in the stock market. Transactions that occur based on the observations of investors towards corporate achievement in making a profit or rate of return (return). This study aims to determine the effect either simultaneously or partially of Return on Equity (ROE), Earning Per Share (EPS), Price Earning Ratio (PER), Price to Book Value (PBV) of company stock return is included in the category of Jakarta Islamic index on the Jakarta Stock Exchange. The study was conducted during the period of 2004-2006 to obtain a sufficiently representative sample. By using multiple linear regression analysis, the results of simultaneous tests had found evidence of significant influence ROE, EPS, PER, and PBV of stock return. The test results showed partially significant influence EPS and PER to stock return. The test results on two other variables are ROE and PBV showed no significant influence direction.
