- Transportation by using containers (container) as a charge unit system is a transportation system that simplifies packaging in a way to unite general cargo and using macammacam other transportation model. This system is intended to achieve three principles namely transportation faster, cheaper, and right. In this study analyzes the development of container terminals covering only Container Yard development in the international container terminal. Method development analysis conducted by the current BASED loading / fit ratarata annual, dwelling time ekport and import, and effective working days high accumulation ratarata (stacking high). Unloading / loading of export and import containers up to 5 years the year 2009 = 859,113 boxes, 120,278 teus; box 2010 = 116,952, 163,733 teus; 2011 = 147,991, 207,187 teus; 2012 = 179,030 boxes, and 250,642 teus in 2013 = Boxes 210,069, 294,097 teus. Container Yard needs based on current loading / container load export and import in 2009 = 1.92 ha; 2010 = 2.61 ha; 2011 = 3.30 ha; 2012 = 3.99 ha and 4.68 ha in 2013 =.
