With market integration and extension which progressively complex, it have succeeded to alter pattern live society. One of the most striking change is reinforcement of consumptive behavior of society. In general they do consumptive behavior just because to take care of image or maintain their self regard. Coopersmith ( in Zainurrofikoh & Hadjam, 2001:59) defining that self regard is self evaluation conducted by an individual and usually relate to self respect. or equally self regard is assessment of someone about herself that he is valuable one. While consumptive behavior itself is someone action buy a goods without existence of sensible consideration where someone in buying a goods not based on requirement factor ( Sumartono 2003: 142). The purpose of This research is to know [the correlation between self regard with consumptive behavior. This research is non experiment research. Population and sample in this research are all farmer of tobacco exist in Kabupaten Pamekasan. As for technique intake of sample by using of accidental sampling technique. Data collecting method which used in this research use scale, that is self regard scale and consumptive behavioral scale. As for technique analyze data which used is correlation analysis of product moment. From data analysis obtained by r = 0,580 and P = 0,000, it is mean that there is significant correlation between self regard with consumptive behavior. As for biggest effective contribution given by self regard to consumptive behavior is 34% and 66% again influenced by some other factor that is personality characteristic, amount of production, work type, gender, and others
