- The thesis is about sea grass culture feasibility at Piru village west-side Seram Residence Maluku Province. This research aimed to find out benefit cost level of sea grass culture by using financial analysis and market analysis which was existed by the sea grass culture. Research method used was descriptive with case study and data collection to grab conclusion. Data analysis used was qualitative descriptive for technical aspect, marketing aspect. Financial aspect used NPV, Net B/C, IRR. Payback period, and sensitivity analysis. From the data analysis, could be found out that sea grass culture at Piru village west-side Seram residence would be succeed if supported by deep sea condition, in this case, low wind, flow, and wave. In financial aspect, by using factor discount 19% and 5 years analysis period, there got Rp 139.969.365 NPV, 578% IRR, 15,85 Net B/C, and 0,2 month payback period The marketing prospect of sea grass commodity was well. For local market or among island, the existence of sea grass could fulfill the people’s needs and the more importance thing was the marketing aspect has built relation pattern between people with producer.
