- PT. Gading Mas Indah Malang represent one of the LPG distributor in Malang which has a handling of inefficient distribution problem in delivery process to agent where less gives attention to demand, no definite scheduling and route make the high of distribution cost. Periodic Vehicle Routing Problem (PVRP) is a technique of route planning from a depot to consumer among m-day period. In this research, PVRP used to optimize visit frequency and route of each agent to minimize distribution cost. Before we apply PVRP model, we need to cluster agents of PT. Gading Mas Indah Malang by k-means approach, determining delivery quantity by adopt the classical Economic Lot Size Model for each visit frequency (fi), the visit frequency consists of fi = 1, fi = 2, fi = 3, and fi = 6, then formulate mathematical model of PVRP, and solution searching by using LINGO 8.0 software for each cluster in every visit frequency to select the route which gives the minimum cost. From the result of solution searching by applying PVRP find optimum visit frequency is 1 visit and the distribution cost saving is Rp 733.500,-/week or equal to 40.82% and the reduction of distance to agent in distribution process of LPG is 783.3 km/week.
