- This type of research that the author did was study of case study, namely the type of research that contains exposure or relevant data from research results in the object of research at the Hotel Nugraha to address Jl. Panji Suroso No. 16 Malang with the title "Corporate Performance Analysis Using the Balanced Scorecard Method (Case Study On Hotel Nugraha Malang). The purpose of this study was to determine if the company's performance is measured using the Balanced Scorecard (Case Study on Hotel Nugraha Malang). The usefulness of research to be achieved especially for the hotel that is as a material consideration in setting the strategy, because of the Balanced Scorecard not only a measure of financial performance but also non-financial performance. The analysis techniques used in measuring the company's performance with the Balanced Scorecard measuring instrument which includes a financial perspective, customer perspective, internal business, learning and growth perspective. Based on the results of research and discussion that has been carried out using a balanced scorecard analysis, it can be concluded as follows: the financial perspective of the analysis results can be obtained from the results that the indicators used show that the performance at the Hotel Nugraha Malang can be considered good. In the customer perspective covering% of occupancy, quests per-room, average daily rate, average rate per quest, the hotel has a good performance, it is because during the years 2003 to 2005 showed that the percentage of each performance at the customer's perspective on on the percentage standards set the hotel. Based on the internal business perspective suggests that firm performance is good enough. In the perspective of learning and growth, particularly in training indicator showing during the years 2003 to 2005 companies are increasingly appreciated for the quality of existing human resources by the increasing number of employees who follow the training. Regarding the indicator of the level of attendance can be concluded that the number of employee absences during 2003 to 2005 continues to increase. Some suggestions that may be brought to the hotel is in a make or implement an improved physical condition of existing facilities and infrastructure, the company is expected to continue to use policies or standards have been established so far. It is expected to further improve upon the performance standards have been defined, steps can be used to better motivate employees to improve the above performance has been achieved so far. Increase the sense of discipline its employees so as to reduce the amount or level of absenteeism, concrete steps that could be done was by the use of sanctions to employees who violate rules set one of them is the application of termination of employment.
