- The aim of this study is to investigate the response of potato to drip irrigation with volume and time application that different . The research was done at Sapikerep, District of Sukapura, Probolinggo (± 1700 m sea above level) from May through August 2007 which the soil type was Andosol. The experiment was arranged in a factorial block random design with 2 factor, comprised : Factor I (Volume of giving water) are V1 (Volume of giving water with drip irrigation 50 ml), V2 (Volume of giving water with drip irrigation 100 ml), V3 (Volume of giving water with drip irrigation 150 ml), and Factor II (Time of giving water) are W1 (Giving water at 30 daps), W2 (Giving water at 35 daps), W3 (Giving water at 40 daps). Arranged as much 9 treatment combination, and repeated 3 times with 3 plants models The observation started at 47 daps and was repeated on a 7-day interval using 3 model plants. Non-destructive and destructive observation were made. The first comprised are plants height (cm), number of leaves and leaf area (cm2), whereas the second comprised are number of tuber per plant, tuber weight per plant(g), tuber weigth per tuber (g), and total yield (ton/ha). The result of this experiment shows that there is a significant interaction among the two factors, and the two factors show effect on growth and yield parameters. Volume 50 ml and time application at 30 daps can increasing plant growth, while volume 150 ml and time application at 40 daps can increasing potato yield component, with ability of production about 18,35 tons/ha.
