- This study was to analyze the detailed meaning, general meaning, and the messages of Tatu’s song “All the Things She Said”. This study used descriptive qualitative because this study did not conduct administration or control treatment as found in experimental research. This study used objective approach because it studied literary work based on intrinsic aspect or the story of Tatu itself. Meanwhile, the object of this study was Tatu song lyrics “All the Things She Said” in the form of lines and sentences. After the analysis, it was found that the detailed meaning of the song lyrics “All the Thing She Said” was about people who loved the same sex and their parents did not give permission to their relationship, but they were still together because they could not be separated. And then they wanted to be in a place where there were just them, they would be able to live without questions or stares from other people. They could not deny that they were lesbians.Thus they still hoped that their parents accepted and forgave them as they were. The general meaning of the song is about the girls who loved the same sex or lesbianism. They wanted to be free and lived without staring from other people. The messages of the song lyrics “All the Things She Said” express that the poet wanted to remind the readers that people in the world had to understand about love, especially love with the same sex that was wrong because people were created by God in couple; man and woman.
