Thereby hence, researcher wish to know how impact existence of PTFI to conflict between ethnical in Mimika, because PTFI give big indirect and direct economic benefit to society seven and tribe of Papua in general, in the reality intertribal war conflict always there is in management of benefit of that PTFI. In this research method, which used by researcher is descriptive research, where descriptive research type is research which isn't it characteristic an society. As for data collecting, isn't it in the form of interview or interview, observation, and documentation. Result of the research that, there is positive impact as well as negative impact of PTFI to local society and Papua at positive generally in realizing in paying attention human resource specially education, service of health, skilled training and economic expansion of nationality. While one of [the] negative impact [of] PTFI to society [about/around] is bearing of with physical environment, in activity of mining of gold-mine, PTFI [do/conduct] dismissal of tailing to river of ajkwa / wanogong as a result primary forest and sago forest and also fish gone out to sea will die, target of tribe of Kamoro which the was living of depend on fish and sago gone out to sea. Thus, there is negative and positive impact which is PTFI made to Mimika Society. Medial of development, society always create intertribal war conflict, because lack of awareness of society, low [of] education him and others so that the problem of individual which can be finished by family but later; then entangle many people or become collective problem hence conflict become bigly, whereas to finish governmental conflict and enforcer punish only relying on customary law and [do] not uphold positive law expressly. Therefore positive law has to place forward, so that people have to bow to positive law.
