- Problems in the field of Electric Power System (STL) become increasingly complex today. Because the variables are measured not only the voltage, power, and current, but also the apparent, active power, reactive power, power factor, and harmonic components of the current and voltage. These quantities can be measured using the Power Analyzer available in the market. This is the basis in designing Power Analyzer. Power Analyzer is connected to the Personal Computer (PC) 8.2 as a LABVIEW-based software for programming and NI-DAQ 6008 as the hardware for data acquisition that can later be analyzing these variables. Power Analyzer is designed for measuring electrical quantities a). effective voltage b). Effective current c). Power d). Apparent Power e). Reactive power f). Power factor, and g). Total harmonic distortion of voltage and current.
