- This research is a study case to each of Indonesian Province with the title Faktor Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Nilai Impor Indonesia . The aim of this research is to know the developing of rupiah exchange rate to US dollar, the developing of PDRB, and the developing of import rate; and also to know the factors which influenced Indonesian import rate 1997 2006. In this research, the writer took hypothesis, assumption if rupiah exchange rate to US dollar and PDRB influenced to Indonesian import rate in each province. The analyze that used to know the correlation relieved variable to bound variable used regretion panel data fixed effect technique method. The panel data is the bundling between two datas, cross section and time series that was all Indonesian Provinces in ten years ( 1997 2006 ). The developing of rupiah exchange rate to US dollar and import rate in each province since 1997 2006 fluctuated, on the contrary the developing of PDRB in each province increased. The result of analyst in F test showed that rupiah exchange rate to US dollar variable and PDRB simultaneous influenced to Indonesian import rate and the analysis of T test showed that rupiah exchange rate to US dollar and PDRB partially influenced significantly to import rate. The conclusion was, the hypothesis of this research proven.
