- In the Provincial Inter-City Transport (Descending) deployed on the Inter-City Bus Transport economics In Province (Descending) deployed on the economic bus route Malang - Probolinggo plays a major role in organizing the public transport of passengers. To encourage the use of economic means optimim bus bus fare economy should be established accordingly. One way to determine the economic bus fare is to calculate vehicle operating costs. A good tariff rates that are appropriate for vehicle users and also for operators of vehicles, where tariffs have been covering the operating costs of vehicles and a number of minimum expected profit operators, while on the other side still in the level of ability to pay of consumers or users. Rising operational cost components resulting in the need for tariff evaluation. Evaluation method based on Minister of Communications Decree No. KM. 89 of 2002 on the mechanism of Rate Determination and Calculation Formula BOK Passenger Transport by Public Bus Car Inter City Economy Class. From the evaluation results obtained by Rp.181.040.160/kend/tahun BOK or Rp. 3.772/kend/km, while the rate of Rp. 115.24 / pnp-km, so the tariff to be paid by passengers for travel purposes Malang - Probolinggo is Rp. 11600.00 / pnp.
