  • This study represents a literature study under the title Analysis of Foreign Aid and Net Export Effects to Gross Domestic Product in Indonesia (period of 1997-2006) . The purpose of this research is firstly to know whether there is or not the significant effect of foreign aid (X1) and net export (X2) to Gross Domestic Product (Y) in Indonesia. While, the second purpose is to know the most dominant variable in affecting Gross Domestic Product in Indonesia. The used hypothesis is (1) it is assumed that foreign aid and net export have significant effect to Gross Domestic Product in Indonesia, and (2) it is assumed that the most dominant variable in affecting Gross Domestic Product in Indonesia is foreign aid. The used tests to know the effect of both variable are t-test anda, F-test, and R2. Besides, it is used classic assumption test comprising autocorrelation, heteroscedasticity, multicolinierity, normality, and linierity to product a right equation model. The result of this research shows that foreign aid and net export have significant effect on Gross Domestic Product. The value of foreign aid variable (X1) of -5,50 has negative effect and the value of net export variable (X2) of 1,90 has positive effect on Gross Domestic Product (Y). From both variables, the most dominant variable in giving contribution on Gross Domestic Product (Y) in Indonesia is foreign aid variable that is 5,50. It is expected that the government should take many policies to be able to decrease or even to remove it dependence on foreign aid. Thus, Indonesia country becomes more autonomous country. Besides, the government is expected to be able to support or to advance in-home indutrilize more, such as more elevating government policy about import substitution and export diversification elevations
