- UD. BMW Apel Malang is a company of fruit industry that result product, their company supplies it is product throught two sources area. They are Malang and Salatiga. The supply of product in their company is rise, so it needed a planning of product distribution. The aimof this distribution is to minimize the cost of product distribution. Based on the fact, so it necessary to apply transportation method. It is done to determine the suitable product allocation and minimize distribution method. The first, we predicted the supply for januari-june 2008 by using minitab version II method, and then we choose the value least of MAPE, next the result of forecasting is processed by NWCR method, the last testing by MODI method so it can be gotten the optimum cost From the result of processing data can result he optimum solution by cost total Rp 88.200.000 can be compared, before applying the transportation method it is Rp 100.500.000 so it is gotten the saving Rp 12.300.000
