- In the development technology, in order to be better and useful it is needed the developing of basic knowledge and done of various researches that have experimental characteristic. In our day lives, we are faced with some problems in doing an occupation, the problem that is taken here a counting process of the amount of fish seed that will be put in a pool or packaged or sold to consumer, where in this process that it is often occur mistake in counting process. By the existence of this problem, that is how we can plan and make the device of counter of fish seed amount by microcontroller AT89S51 application and give other alternative in accounting of fish seed amount automatically. In this problem we can formulate that how to plan the device of counter of fish seed amount microcontroller AT89S51 can work optimally. Because of the method that is used during this time still use the process manually. To optimize the process of calculation, so it is used the sensor for calculation process. Sensor that is used a photodioda as receiver or light detector and infra red as radiation source. The calculation process based on fish seed that through sensor then that data is processed by microcontroller to know the final result.
