- The purpose of this research are to examine and to find out the effects of Gross Regional Domestic Product and Regencies/Municipalities Minimum Wage through its labor of demand in East Java province. Data are combination between section cross data, namely data from all regencies or municipalities in East Java, and time series data in 5 years periods ( 2002-2006 ). Further, the data panel regression is used as the analysis tool on this research. And the results show that the Gross Regional Domestic Product and Regencies/Municipalities Minimum Wage simultaneously give significant effect on the labor of demand in the East Java province in the year of 2002-2006. In addition, the spatial test also showed that Gross Regional Domestic Product and egencies/Municipalities Minimum Wage give significant effect on the labor of demand. From the random effect method on the data panel regression, it can be concluded thah Malang regency is the highest labor of demand among all, while on the other side, Kediri has been found out to be the lowest labor of demand between all of the study areas in East Java province
