- Growth of family which is have single old fellow in this time is phenomenon that goes on continue. Sub-District Of Jetis, District Of Lamongan, Sub-Province of Lamongan the happening of single parent because of death and divorce one of life couple. Ad for Society efficacy of mothering pattern and to fulfill requirement of family in family of single parent high enough. So that single parent cope in maintaining his family resilience. In this research use descriptive research model qualitative. Research Subyek in this research is family of single parent and in this case researcher take sampel with technique of purposive sampling. Technique data collecting in this research is interview, documentation and observation. As for technique analyse descriptive used data qualitative. Family resilience is the condition of dinamik a family owning taft and resilient and also contain ability of and fisik-material of psikis-mental spiritual for self-supporting life and develop the family and x'self of for harmonious life in improving prosperity born and bliss of mind where one unshakeable side stand upon spirit whereas on the other side behaving proaktif to change. Theory which used in this research is rational choice theory James Coleman and social action concept of Max Weber. Factors which is background the happening of single parent that is death and divorce one of life couple. As for efforts in maintaining family is effort of single parent in mothering child with pattern type take care of democratically and permisif. Strive single parent in education of child that is educating in formal education path and non formal. Strive single parent in fulfilling requirement of family put hand to especial work and side job. Strive single parent in developing strength of spiritual psikis-mental that is not overrule social environment him, not overrule the religious service of and follow religious event his environment. While in maintaining the family of that is child participation in family and comprehend the condition of old fellow. Support big family like single parent which depend on big family and of single parent which do not depend on big family. With existence of effort of single parent in maintaining family resilience hence can be told have succeeded, because in family of single parent have resilient two work, and delaying not to base on the big family of and also contain ability of fisik-material in fulfilling requirement of and family of psikis-mental spiritual where existence of mothering child, child participation, not overrule social environment him, not overrule the religious service of and follow religious event his environment.
