- The executive bus intercity and province of Malang-Jakarta route as public transportation had important role in the public transportation served remembering the economic growth rate was high. The bus represents alternative transportation to the middle up public suitable with user capability. This transportation needs a cost to survive. The tariff used must be suitable with vehicle operational cost by remain paid attention of continuity and development of the effort. The fluctuation of vehicle operational component price need tariff evaluation. The purpose of this study was to evaluate tariff by calculate and determine tariff based on vehicle operational cost prevailed this time. The method used at this study was adopted at Decision of Communication Minister No. KM. 89 / 2002 about the Mechanism of BOK Formulation and Tariff Decree of Public Transportation by Intercity Bus and the Decision of Land Communication General Director No. SK.687/AJ.206DRJD/2002 about Technical Guidance of Public Transportation Implementation at The Urban Area in the fixed and regular route. Study result obtained average Rp. 864.584.953/year-vehicle Rp. 3.557,96/km-vehicle, was obtained tariff Rp. 195,69/passenger-kilometres while for paid tariff Rp. 230.000/passenger.
