  • This research was quantitative descriptive research titled Influence of Human Resources and Investment to the Growth Rate of Domestic Products Regional Bruto (Study at Large Industries in Mojokerto City 1999 - 2006). This research aimed to find out the level of resource and for investment at Mojokerto. The second, the writer intend to know about the influence of working absorption and investment to Gross regional domestic product related with large industry sector in Mojokerto. In this research, the writer formulated a hypothesis: estimated that the amount of human resource and investment absorption would influence the growth rate of gross regional domestic product. Analytical tool used for this research was multiple linear regressions. An analytical tool used to find out the influence of independent variable X1 (human resource absorption) X2 (investment value) to the dependent variable Y (gross regional domestic product). This multiple linear regression was done by t-test, F-test, and R2-test. Data used in this research was time series data between 1999 - 2006. Multiple linear regression analysis equation create a formula for X1 variable (human resource absorption) and X2 (investment value) Y (gross regional domestic product). From the equation, the influence between human resource absorption (X1) and investment value (X2) each were 0.156 million and 0.712 million. The relation between independent variable and dependent variable were close since in R2-test at 0.51 (51%), the rest was influenced by another factor outside the research.
