  • Various ways were made by radio station to attract the listener, whether by on air program or off air program. The program offered by each radio station was different each other depend on the wanted listener segment. There were so many radio stations. It cause them compete each other to get optimum listener through program. Beside as the entertainment and information media, radio was a public company who oriented to get profit. That’s why the success of radio station couldn’t be measured from the listener, but also indicated from the user. Show management, time, and length of broadcast also segmentation was needed in its performances. Things which should be had by radio reporter were communicative, nice talk, innovative, creative, and good personality. So the listener would be interested to follow the program and always remember the station. Andalus FM radio was one of private radio on Malang. The existence of the radio which located at Jl. Baiduri Pandan 16 Tlogomas Lowokwaru SubDistrict Malang City among Malang citizens became so important since the radio was not only turn Malang society as subject but also object of the broadcast. Various programs were presented to fulfill all people need from middle class to lower class, old and young. ‘Cendikia Andalus’ call name for its audience was fit the mission, which was progressing the audience intelligence. One of the great program for the youth was AGASI which was acronym of ‘Ajang Gaya dan Kreasi’. The program discuss one theme of adolescence in each program. The listener could have opinion about the discussing theme through SMS interactive line. After that, the listener also could request Indonesian Top40 song. The program presented Monday to Saturday, 14.00 to 16.00 The writer chose the program to be studied since the program was interesting for the writer. The writer was curious about how the AGASI program management so that in long time length, the program still onair till now. Certainly, to make the program popular and chosen by the listener. The study used descriptive qualitative approach to collect actual information about the activity of talkshow program management to the program agent at ‘Ajang Gaya & Kreasi’ event at Andalus FM Radio Malang. The informer was Andalus FM Radio employee who was involved in the programs. There would be examination for them who understand the program. The method used were interview, observation and documentation. In order to find additional data, the data collected was analyzed using qualitative data analysis which was processed in induction interpretation conceptualization form. The research showed that management working process of AGASI show consisted of several phases. They were: Planning : choosing the name, deciding theme or material, deciding format and form, promotion, choosing and deciding reporter, competitor, and strategy to face competition and targeting. Collecting : Searching activity and musical material and words, and inviting source. Evaluation : After broadcast or package broadcast, there was evaluation by production team for further development. Evaluation discussed the weakness in technique and material, also team coordination Interactive talkshow program management was a processing or combining production factors existed at Andalus FM Radio, the application of all existing resources in Andalus FM Radio and Agasi product which was dominated by a producer.
