- Nowdays, the development of tehcnology has become a necessity towards human needs. One of these issues formed as communication technology where it has been proven by the phenomenom of celluler phones with its technologies such as AMPS, GSM and CDMA. Basically the purposes of a celluler phone is not only limited as a voice transmission tools, but also as a data transfer device in the form of text and pictures or what we generally know as SMS (Short Message Services). The main purpose of this final project is to build a device that shows text information in a display screen which has proceeded as textual data from a sender to a receiver celluler phone. This display is controlled using a minimum system of Micro Controller Unit (MCU) AT89C51 which oerate as the brain of the whole circuits. Contains of the display are certain amounts of LEDS arranged according to the circuit that has been designed supported by some other related circuits, and ran under the desired programs so that the device would work perfectly.
