  • Self-discipline is a major and essential aspect of education in the family that the waistband by parents because they are responsible by nature in laying the foundations and foundations to children. Efforts to parents or educators would be achieved if the child has been able to control their own behavior with the reference of moral values are internalized. This effort, are essentially the structuring of situations and conditions that can invite children to menjeburkan themselves voluntarily into the sea of moral values that can be used as the basis for a disciplined behave themselves. If the child is able to discipline themselves in a meaningful then he has the ability to anticipate, accommodate, and coloring of global flows (not washed and dissolved in global currents). This research is a descriptive qualitative research. Subjects in this study were four male students who behave indiscipline. Research carried out in SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Banyuwangi for a month, since February 14 - 19 March 2005. The data collection in this research is a method of interview. Data analysis in this research using descriptive analysis is to provide data into a form that is easy to read and interpreted. Research results revealed that the four subjects showed behavior that is often non-adherent indiscipline and violating the existing rules at school and at home. Causes of indiscipline behavior is formed by experience and learning that one of the family and school environment, lack of attention from old Oran, the prohibitions that make the child feel depressed, anger and rejection from parents or educators on the attitudes and behavior caused. Results of the study showed that subjects only requires attention, understanding, support, and affection, because they want to be understood so the subject can easily be given a briefing. The existence of good approximation between the researchers with a subject that troubled all experienced changes that are very meaningful, for example, the subject has begun to set the attitude and behavior that is expected for this subject could get even better performance than the previous.
