- In each building must have a positive impact to people's lives in that area pembagunan such as reducing unemployment and creating new jobs. In this study, researchers examined the "Poor Town Square Development and Social Change (Descriptive Study About Changes in value, Changes in Attitudes and Changing Behaviour Patterns On Being in the village community Guarantee Klojen Malang District)." In this study, researchers used a descriptive qualitative research method, which aims to provide a clear picture about the state of the object at the present time based on the facts that appear or as they are. Technique pusposive sampling using sampling, with samples of 20 persons. The instruments used in this research is observation, interview, questionnaire and documentation of archives and photo. While the theoretical framework in this research uses the theory of Bert F. Hoselitz about non-economic factors of development and the theory of Structural Functional Robert K. Marton and social change theory of Talcott Parson The results showed that in Malang Town Square development in the village has a positive side ie Penanggungan open employment for people who are in Sub Guarantee and a negative side that is changing the physical environment so that the reduction in green open space in the Guarantee. To change caused by the pembanunan Malang Town Square are: Perubahn Value; Social Relations society has not changed. Cooperation, mutual cooperation and kinship relations are still embedded in society, way of thought people have a better change of direction. Where society is more advanced in view of education and employment. Changes in Attitude: The attitude is influenced by the environment, community environmental conditions have not changed, people still adhere to customs and culture that has become a tradition in the community. Stratification of Society, with the development of Malang Town Square at Village Guarantee does not make people distinguish the status sosial.Perubahan Behaviour Patterns: Trends Lifestyle, can be clearly seen a change in society Penanggungan lifestyle to a more modern, with shopping in Malang Town Square.
