- This research is descriptive research that aims to find out how the assessment Citizens Patronage Penitentiary (PLT) to the coaching education program in the Correctional Institution (LP) chatter. In Correctional Institutions who have studied the problem, said by the coach that the PLT have less interest to participate in educational programs. The subjects used in this study is the Citizens Patronage Penitentiary (PLT) The following educational assistance programs, amounting to 40 people. Data collection method used in this study is enclosed questionnaire and interview. While the methods used in data analysis percentage. From the research that uses questionnaires all research subjects give a good assessment on the education program. And from preliminary observations can be concluded that the PLT happy to follow the education program at LP chatter, but they also must continue to provide livelihood to the families they left behind and they feel that have to work to earn revenue, so they sometimes do not follow the learning activities. Judging from the results of research it can be concluded that the PLT has an interest and motivation to follow the development of education, so it can be said that the coaching education program at LP Lowokwaru unacceptable and the PLT assess both on the education program held at LP Lowokwaru Malang.
