- Research on the development of KOMA (Thematic Comic) teaching materials is motivated by a problem that occurs at SDN 2 Tirtomoyo in class III, namely that there is a need to change the mindset of students that previously learning is often boring and will make learning more interesting and enjoyable. These changes are by developing teaching materials that can make students more enthusiastic, interested, and foster learning activities that are more fun in thematic learning. This study aimed to: (1) Describe KOMA (Thematic Comic) teaching material products Theme 3 Subtheme 3 Learning 2 Class III SD which is valid and interesting. (2) Describe KOMA (Thematic Comic) teaching materials products Theme 3 Subtheme 3 Learning 2 Class III effective elementary. This research is a development research using ADDIE model which has 5 stages namely: Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. This research was conducted in class III students of SDN 2 Tirtomoyo with 33 students. Data collection by conducting observations, interviews, questionnaires, tests and documentation. The data obtained in the form of qualitative and quantitative data which is then processed and described by the presentation of measured data to determine the quality of the product being developed. The results of research on the development of teaching materials KOMA (Thematic Comics) Theme 3 Subthemes 3 Learning 2 Class III Elementary School based on the percentage assessment, namely: (1) The percentage of results of teaching material validation by 80% and validation of material experts by 87.5%. While the percentage obtained from the results of student responses was 97.27%. (2) The results of the field trials are divided into pre-test and post-test with an average of 80.30 in the pre-test and 88.63 in the post-test. Based on the analysis using the Paired Sample T-Test, the sig (Sig.) Score is 0,000 <0.05 by making a decision that there is a difference in the improvement of students' abilities before and after the use of KOMA (Thematic Comic) teaching materials Theme 3 Subtheme 3 Learning 2 Class III Elementary School.
