- Based on the needs analysis conducted at Sisir 5 SDN Batu City on March 12, 2020, it got results in the learning process in class 4A. That is because learning media have not been seen and haven't developed of e-Book based learning media. Students are more interested in media that uses audio visual. During the learning process takes place only using the media that is around students such as poster images in the classroom and not yet tematik. So that students do not understand the material related to theme 1 Indahnya Kebersamaan subtheme 1 Keberagaman Budaya Bangsaku which is about Culture. The researcher took the initiative to develop a more effective media, namely "The media Kesan Koba (Kebudayaan and Kekhasan Kota Batu) e-Book application. The purpose of this research and development is (1) to description the Development of Kesan Koba (Kebudayaan and Kekhasan Kota Batu) e-Book application as Learning Media theme 1 subtheme 1 grade IV elementary school. This type of research uses R&D (Research & Development) with the DDD-E development model (Decide, Design, Develop, Evaluate). The research was conducted at SDN Sisir 5 Kota Batu in class 4A with 21 students. This research was conducted in March 2020. The results of this study are in the form of quantitative data to determine validity, and qualitative data to infer data obtained according to research procedures. The results of this study show the facts: (1) After the researchers conducted the development of the media "Kesan Koba" (Kebudayaan and Kekhasan Kota Batu) e-Book application through the validation of material experts, and media experts got the results of media research being trialled in the field without revision. This discusses the percentage of material experts with results with results of 96.8% for learning materials and 100% for language learning. The value of the media expert is 96.8%, for media design the rating rate is 87.5%, and 100% is for display. and all in the category of very feasible to use in the learning process in class. These results are stated as developed media that can be used as a reference in the learning process
