This study discusses about process of implementing the Holistic Therapeutic Community (HTC) method at the Social Welfare Institution of the Doulos Recovery Center in Batu City. The Holistic Therapeutic Community (HTC) method offers recovery covering bio-psycho-social-spiritual aspects with the principle of man helping man to help him self. The purpose of this study is to determine the process of applying the Holistic Therapeutic Community (HTC) method and explain the impact of the Holistic Therapeutic Community (HTC) method for victims of drug abuse in the Doulos Recovery Center LKS using qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data condensation, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the method used by the Social Welfare Institution of the Doulos Recovery Center in Batu City is a combination of holistic and therapeutic community methods. Process for the recovery of victims of drug abuse at the Doulos Recovery Center LKS is based on the therapeutic community method which includes the pre-treatment stage, primary care stage, re-entry care stage and after care stage. The service strategy provided is a holistic service. The impact of the Holistic Therapeutic Community (HTC) method for drug abuse clients is that it can shape changes in holistic behavior that includes biological, psychological, social and spiritual aspects.
