- Collage students tend to change their lifestyle, and behaviour in order to have similarity with their reference group and get their recognition, this is called conformity. The encouragement to follow their reference group will create some behaviour so they will not considered to be outdated and consumptive behaviour is one of them. Consumptive behaviour that isn’t based on needs will create sense of anxiety. This behaviour can easily increasing along with technology and information growth. What happening these days are people start using e-money because of the fast information and offered price make them to change their lifestyle.This study aims to find is there any relation between conformity and consumptive behaviour in collage students who use e-money application. Methods for this research is quantitative and used accidental sampling technique with 200 subjects of collage students in Malang. Consist of 63 male (31,5%) and 137 women (68,5%) with mean 21,6 and standard deviation of 1,388. The analysis used product moment pearson correlation test with the help of SPSS 25. The result this study showed that there is a positive relation and significant between conformity variable and consumptive behaviour variable with correlation coefficient value (r=0,295, p<0,01). That meant the higher levels of conformity the more higher levels of consumptive behaviour and otherwise.
