- Water supply is a basic need for humans so that it gets priority in its handling and fulfillment. To meet these needs it is necessary to plan water supply needs for the housing so that it is fulfilled optimally and efficiently. Kota Sutera has an area of ± 8 ha and has 550 housing units. While the Grand Sutera Mekarsari has an area of ± 10 ha and has 915 housing units. This area was once a paddy field and the City of Silk and Grand Sutera Mekarsari will be built at street Raya Cadas Kukun. The purpose of planning this water supply distribution network is to design pipelines and to calculate water supply needs. The process of planning a drinking water distribution network uses a waternet application program. As a result of drinking water needs in the Kota Sutera and Grand Sutera Mekarsari Tangerang District Housing, the average drinking water needs are 8.13 l / sec, the maximum daily needs are 8.95 l / sec, and the water needs during peak hours are 12.2 l / sec. In the planning of drinking water distribution pipelines using the waternet program there are 103 nodes with 134 planned pipes and use 3 different types of pipe diameters, namely 156 mm (6 ") pipe, 104 mm (4") pipe, and 51.2 mm pipe ( 2 ") which adjusts to the planned scheme. For the City of Silk Housing starts from pipe 1 to pipe 51 while those for the Grand Sutera Mekarsari Housing continue from pipe 52 and end at pipe 134.
