- Background: National Park of Rinjadi Montain covering an area of 41,330 ha is a conservation area which is a popular tourist destination for foreign and domestic tourists. Based on CNBC Indonesia's review revealed the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing said as many as 1,266 public facilities were damaged by the earthquake that shook Lombok, one of which was the National Park of Rinjadi Montain (CNBC INDONESIA, 2018). The facilities in the Mount Rinjani National Park cannot be handled after the earthquake so it has an impact on the environment around the National Park of Rinjadi Montain. Objective: To know impact of the earthquake on the damage to climbing facilities in the Sembalun Resort area as well as the efforts of the Mount Rinjani Resort Sembalun National Park in overcoming damage to the climbing facilities caused by the earthquake. Method: The approach is in the form of interviews to explore information related to the impact of the earthquake on Mount Rinjani National Park with a qualitative approach, collecting, analyzing, and displaying data, as well as trying to make accurate measurements of the data obtained and analyze the data descriptively. Result and Conclusions: The impact of the earthquake resulted in damage to the facilities of post 1 which is an entrance and is commonly used as a resting place, post 2 which is commonly used as a resting place, gazebo / berugak, as many as 8 units toilets, post 4 which is a place of rest, a post outpost equipped with a gazebo / berugak, and climbing via Sembalun or damage to public facilities. Efforts of the Gunung Rinjani Resort Sembalun National Park Office in the framework of recovering the Sembalun hiking trail are hampered by unfavorable weather conditions and the relevant parties must wait for the field conditions to completely recover to facilitate the repair process for the hiking trail.
