  • Background: The flavonoids compounds in soursop leaf extract (Annona muricata L.) act as high antioxidant compound potentially which can dampen free radical compounds, therefore it can be utilized to prevent the presence premature aging. It was formulated in the form of a peel-off mask by using PVA as base and PEG 1500 as plasticizer. Research objectives: Determine the effect of PEG 1500 as plasticizer (with a concentration of 2.5%; 5% and 10%) towards physical and chemical characteristics and stability of the preparation of the peel-off leaf extract soursop (Annona muricata L.). Method: Peel-off mask was made with soursop leaf extract with some variations in PEG 1500. The variation group consisted of F1 (2.5%), F2 (5%), and F3 (10%). Then the characteristics test of chemical physics included organoleptic, homogeneity, viscosity, coverage, drying time, and pH, as well as the stability of the preparation of the peel-off mask, was conducted. Results and conclusions: Based on the evaluation result it was provide meaningful differences in organoleptic, homogeneity, viscosity, coverage, drying time and pH. The stability test was performed on all three formulas using freeze thaw cycling and real time methods with with two parameters, which are organoleptic and pH value It was obtained that the preparation is stable during the storage process of freeze thaw cycling method except homogenity in
